An international London firm, recognised as top tier Legal 500 in several practice areas and Legal 50 by revenue in the UK, is looking to bolster their in-house team with senior conflicts professional. This person would act as “Head of Conflicts” and manage a small team while assisting on regulatory and in-house conflict matters. With a great deal of responsibility and the ability to develop the team around yourself, this is an exciting opportunity for a Conflicts Solicitor to develop their career.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues.
- Drive forward a large-scale project to implement significant improvements to the firm’s internal conflicts processes and procedures
- Conduct a gap analysis and to train and build up a team of conflicts analysts.
- Report to the Risk and Compliance Partner.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Work to time limits
Skills and Experience:
- UK qualified Solicitor with 5+ PQE of experience in the risk team of a reputable firm.
- Strong experience with conflict matters.
- Proven experience of managing junior members of staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills interacting with clients and colleagues.
- A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal and team development.
