Are you an experienced Family Solicitor ready to step into a true leadership role? This fully remote position offers the chance to become Head of Family, with full autonomy to shape and grow a family department and strategically drive business growth within an ambitious, forward‑thinking practice.
The Opportunity
As Head of Family, you’ll take ownership of the department’s direction, culture and performance. You’ll mentor junior lawyers, build a high‑value caseload, and work directly with the Directors on long‑term strategy. This is a role for someone who wants to influence, innovate and genuinely shape and grow a family department from the ground up.
What You’ll Lead On
- Managing a broad private family caseload
- Supervising and developing junior team members
- Setting departmental goals and growth plans
- Building a strong client base and ensuring high‑quality service
- Implementing strategies to drive business growth
- Leading marketing, networking and visibility initiatives
What You Bring
- 8+ years’ PQE in Family Law
- Proven experience as a leader or Head of Family
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to drive business growth
- A track record of building client relationships and generating work
- Experience supervising junior lawyers
- Confidence, vision and the ambition to shape and grow a family department
