The firm has an existing private family team of two senior lawyers and is now seeking a dynamic Head of Family who can grow the team, develop the work and shape the long‑term direction of the department. With no equity partners currently in the team, this is a rare chance to take on a visible leadership role with genuine influence.
The Opportunity
As Head of Family, you will:
- Lead, mentor and expand a private family team
- Drive business development and build a strong, sustainable caseload
- Develop and deliver the department’s strategic growth plan
- Work closely with senior leadership to elevate the firm’s family offering
- Bring energy, vision and a proactive approach to team development
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys building something of their own and wants to step into a senior leadership position.

Package & Working Pattern
- Salary: circa £100K
