Our client is a respected and long-established legal practice with multiple offices across Essex. Known for delivering high-quality legal services with a personal touch, the firm has a strong presence in the community and a team of over 100 professionals, offering comprehensive support to both individuals and businesses.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and client-focused Solicitor to join their well-established Litigation department. You will be joining a team of six, working in a supportive and forward-thinking environment with very flexible working arrangements and a genuine focus on work-life balance.
The Role:
This is a broad litigation position where you will manage a partial caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters, while also playing a key role in business development to further expand the firm’s litigation offering. You will take ownership of client files from instruction to resolution and contribute to the strategic growth of the department.
What they are looking for?
- A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in handling a broad mix of commercial and civil disputes. Property experience is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple litigation areas
- Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to contribute to business development and departmental growth
- Collaborative approach, able to work effectively within a team of six
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Competence with modern case management systems and MS Office
- Track record of meeting billing targets in a fee-earning role
