Our client is a highly respected, full-service law firm with a distinguished reputation, operating from three offices across Surrey. Known for their commitment to excellence, they have consistently earned recognition and accolades, including being highly ranked in the Legal 500.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join their well-established and highly regarded private client department—the largest team within the firm—and play a key role in their ongoing success.
The role
They are seeking a high-performing individual to join their team of nine, managing a diverse caseload across a wide range of private client matters, including:
- Drafting wills, both simple and complex
- Estate and tax planning
- Providing advice on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax
- Probate and estate administration.
- Preparing and managing Lasting Powers of Attorney
What are they looking for?
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with at least 5 years PQE in Private Client
- Technically strong in all aspects of Wills and Probate
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organsiational skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships and work empathetically with individuals during sensitive times
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
