A well-known and highly regarded Boutique, based in the heart of the west end, is looking for a strong and experienced Senior Associate to join their reputable Property Litigation team, working on a mix of residential and commercial real estate disputes. They have been serving the locale for almost 200 years and are key part of a vast international network, meaning that their close-nit firm (around 30 Solicitors) offers a caseload of very high-quality matters with a very competitive salary.
Their client base includes everything from family businesses to large multinational companies and typical matters include service charge and rent recovery cases, forfeiture, dilapidation, possession, boundary, easement, trespass, collective enfranchisement and other matters. With a good work/life balance and this is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Sr Associate or Jr Partner to enjoy a varied and high-quality caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of Real Estate Disputes including varied high-value residential and commercial matters,
- Assist partners with the management of the team, and support junior members of staff in developing their careers and managing cases,
- Develop a client-base following the business plans of those leading the team, handling clients directly and developing ongoing relationships,
- Take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations and ensure full compliance,
- Attend client meetings, court hearings and conferences.
Skills and Experience:
- UK qualified Solicitor with 7+ years PQE (other levels to be considered on a case-by-case basis) in a reputable boutique, national or international firm,
- Experience managing a wide variety of commercial property litigation matters, to ideally include landlord and tenant disputes, rights over land, and boundary disputes,
- Ability to lead in relevant matters while assisting junior members of staff,
- A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal growth and strong interpersonal skills.
