The Role
You will handle a high‑quality caseload where the majority of your work will be clinical negligence, including complex and catastrophic matters. You will also support the wider team on their high‑profile personal injury cases, contributing your expertise where needed.
This is a senior position suited to someone who enjoys both technical excellence and strategic involvement. You will play a key role in helping to grow and shape the department, so a genuine interest in business development and marketing is essential.
What you will be involved in:
- High‑value clinical negligence claims (including catastrophic injury)
- Supporting the team on major PI matters
- Building relationships with referrers, medical experts, and professional networks
- Helping to raise the profile of the department through BD and marketing initiatives
- Providing guidance and leadership within a collaborative, specialist team
About You:
- 7+ years PQE as a Solicitor or CILEX
- Strong track record in high‑value clinical negligence and/or catastrophic PI
- Ability to attract work and maintain a professional network
- Passion for supporting clients with life‑changing injuries
- Enthusiasm for developing others and contributing to the team’s long‑term growth
